The Panama British Business Association

The main objectives of the Panama–British Business Association (PBBA) consist of the following:

To promote, encourage and actively assist trade and investment relations between the citizens of the Republic of Panama and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

To represent to the appropriate authorities, the views, interests, concerns and opinions of the members of the Association.

To employ such persons as are necessary to ensure the efficient administration of the Association.

To liase, and cooperate where necessary and appropriate, with other organisations whose activities have a bearing on the objectives of the Association.

To assist in the promotion of understanding and friendly relations, between the citizens of the Republic of Panama and the United Kingdom.

To disseminate information where necessary in the furtherance of the objectives of the Association.

To undertake any other activities it deems necessary or convenient in order to achieve the above-mentioned objectives.

Membership of the association is as follows:

Corporate Members – Any company, partnership, or other legal entity, whether incorporated or not, resident or not within the Republic of Panama, whose purposes would be consistent with the objectives of the Association. Corporate members can nominate up to 5 members of their staff to participate of PBBA activities.

Individual Members – Any person who is at least 21 years of age who is not able or eligible to participate in the Association through a Corporate Member.
