Working with Panama

The role of the British Embassy is to represent the British Government and people in their relations with Panama.  We play an active role in strengthening political and economic links between Panama and the UK.  On these pages you can find out about some of what we do.  Keep up to date with British Embassy projects and news in our News section.

The British government is committed to reinvigorating its relations with Panama and Latin America as our Foreign Secretary has made clear.  The British Embassy in Panama, along with all other British Embassies worldwide, works towards the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s priorities to protect and promote UK interests and values, safeguard Britain’s national security, build Britain’s prosperity and support British nationals around the world.
